Title: Tear fluid and corneal nerve
Project description: This study investigates the relationship between tear fluid biomarkers and corneal nerve health using data from the Maastricht Study, a large population-based cohort focusing on type 2 diabetes and related chronic conditions. By integrating ophthalmologic imaging with biochemical analysis, the study seeks to improve the understanding of tear fluid analysis for nerve damage and systemic disease progression.
